About
The ability to artfully explore a subject through various methods of visual documentation is something which has fascinated Philip since a young age. At 16 years of age, he got his first taste in video by taking a summer media arts course at Calgary based media arts centre EMMEDIA. His fascination with electronic media quickly grew from there. Philip graduated with honours from the Cinema, Television, Stage and Radio program majoring in Film/Video at SAIT, and quickly became a fixture in the independent film/video scene in Calgary.Philip currently works as a freelance Cinematographer/Videographer, in addition to his role as a Video Editor for Getty Images. He has worked on various projects from feature films and documentaries, to music videos and dramatic short films. He also sits on the Board of Directors of EMMEDIA as the Production Committee Liaison.
